Microchip holder

Microchip holders are used in Cytocentrics' medical CytoPatch™ systems, which test the effectiveness of medicines on cultured DNA material using the patch-clamping principle. The microchip holder positions the needles used to inject a liquid that is then transported via channels to microfluidic chips. Channels are sealed where they attach to the chip.

Holders contain O-rings measuring 0.2 mm with tolerances of 0.03 mm. This demonstrates LSR's suitability for high-precision medical and electronic applications. Click here to find out more about the CytoPatch™ system.
